Will it work with a T-Mobile sim card on a GSM system?

I bought this phone specifically to use with FreedomPop. They are on the Sprint network. The phone was preset to work as such. It works fine. I dont know what or if it will function with anyother network

If this is a sprint phone, is it CDMA? Will it also work on Verizon? What are the frequencies this phone operates on?

Freedompop has flashed the rom so you will need to unlock it even to bring it to Sprint. And good luck getting them to cooperate. If it seems too good to be true...it usually is. Save the hassle. Stay away.

So this is not an unlocked phone?  I'm in the eastern US and am considering AT&T as my carrier.  The answers supplied indicate this phone is only compatible with Sprint's network.  Sorry if this seems obvious, but I'm not knowledgeable about this tech.

That's correct, as is this specific phone will not work with AT&T.

This may be too much for your experience, but I bought this phone to use on AT&T after unlocking, rooting and updating. As of this date unable to learn how to do what I need so probably will return; have another week.
