Does this ship with a toner cartridge ? or will one have to be purchased ?

It ships with a toner cartridge, but I believe it is a "starter" cartridge.  That means that it is only about half full.  It will work fine but you will have to purchase another cartridge sooner than you normally would if you started with a new, full cartridge.

Hi, is this compatible with Ipad?

Hi Don,
I do not have any Apple products (nor will I ever), but the manual says "ios 4.0 or higher: IPod Touch, IPhone, IPad" are supported devices.

The printer has been awesome for me.  It's fast, has duplex printing, goes on the network directly for use by all of my computers.

Question 3

Does this work on Mac? What toner cartridge is included?

Samsung is one of the few brands of printers that includes Mac drivers. The cartridge is a starter cartridge meaning after a few months you will need to replace it. There are many generic cartridges available for cheap. This is a super quick printer. Excellent black and white laser printer. I use multiple printers of this model, no problems what so ever.

I did not see the ink cartridge in package; is it included?

i bought the refurbished version of thisprinter, and it did come with a cartridge, but it was low on toner.  I would recommend picking up an extra.  overall, it is a pretty good printer for home use.
