I believe you have the wrong number listed for this product.  The model number you have listed is the nvme version.  But your pricing, as well as your description clearly indicates it is the ahci version.  Or perhaps your description and capacity is wrong?

In either case, buyer beware.

I have dell precision t700 workstation. Can I upgrade with Samsung SSD MZVPV512HDGL-00000 SM951 512GB M.2 PCIE 3.0? Will BIOS recognize and boot from new device?

you can but it will have problem booting on that ssd if you dont have the pci adapter i dont know if its just my mother board but i had to get the pci adapter for it to boot on ssd. so i would recommend the combo version if your thinking of upgrading to this ssd
