I personally installed a 32gb micro sd card in mine. But I've read it will accept a 64gb card (although I have not verified that). Hope that helps

Can this be upgraded to android kit kat?

As of now, no. I ordered this tablet earlier this month (really like it btw) and after attempting updates I'm still at version 4.1.2. I researched the same thing online and found the following information. Samsung allegedly listed this tablet as due to receive kitkat but did not specify which versions (I received model GT-N8013) Model GT-N8000  has already received kitkat in Germany but there is no information as to whether it will come to the US or other models. I also found out that there has not been a major update to this model since early 2013. Given these facts I am cautiously optimistic it will receive kitkat, but if it doesnt happen by years end I doubt it will at all. Hope this helps!
