The TowerSTOR TS2CT is a hardware RAID embedded enclosure provides high performance storage for creative professional with 180MB/s. The embedded Hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing high perfromance throughput to eSATA and Firewire 800. Popular USB 2.0 and Firewire 400 provide easy connection to various computer operating systems. Since RAID engine is embeded inside the enclosure, there is no OS compatibility issues. With support of RAID 0 and RAID 1, TS2CT allows user to choose from fast performance on RAID 0 or hard drive redundancy protection on RAID 1. Its easy to read LCD display allows user to manage and monitor the RAID system status in a easy to read format.
