Does this device come with EMUI 5.1 and Android 7.0 installed?

Mine (purchased November 2016) came with EMUI 4.1 & Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).  Currently running EMUI 5.0 & Android 7.0 (Nougat).  Upgrade was simple & pain-free over WiFi via the built-in System Update in the phone's Settings Utility.

First, This is a great fone and a spectacular investment for the money dual SIM or not. One can buy TWO Honor 8's for the price of ONE big name flagship. Dual SIM problem solved

I personally have NOT done a dual install or SIM swap. First, go to the Honor 8 website and search their community forum for the latest on the tech.  That's what I did and...TTBOMR movong between two SIMs/services is a  "warm switch" requiring the user to invoke the "change SIM" settings. You cannot "hot switch" between the two.  Only ONE SIM can be "active/hot" at a time. Dual SIM service may also depend on the providers and/or regulators in a country. Many overseas (I'm in the US) users that country hop for work are eager for this feature but keep in mind the authorities in a country you're visiting can have access to BOTH SIMs if they decide they want your fone. I will be trying the SIM swap shuffle when I visit Canada.

Yes, this is a US version and the adapter actually works between 100V to 240V

I believe that Boost Mobile works on the Sprint Network which uses CDMA.  This will only work on GSM networks.  Newegg supplies a North American carrier compatibility chart on the product page.

I think "yes" , you can activate the blue SIM card ( GSM) , then put the sim into the phone

No, it's a GSM-only phone. It might get LTE occasionally, but it only supports one of Verizon's three main LTE bands, and it would never get voice or 2/3G data. If you need a cheap phone that works on Verizon, try the Axon 7.

The one that we have purchased is compatible with GSM networks in the U.S.
It shall work with Straight Talk if they are using GSM instead of CDMA network.
