Pros: I have bought the card, it does have DDR5. The DDR5 memory clock is 750Mhz (3.0 Ghz effective), giving it 96 GB/s throughput vs. 64 GB/s on a stock 4850 with DDR3. Verified using GPU-Z. Specwise, it looks like a 4870 with a 17% drop in memory clock, a 4850 GPU clock(625 Mhz v. 750 Mhz for the 4870), and a 4850 BIOS. OC'ers can make of that what they will. Temps are about 45-50C idle, 60-65C at load.

Cons: Doesn't support DX11. Eight pin power connector suggests it might be a bit of a power drain.

Overall Review: I planned to do a little more testing on this before posting a review, but felt it was more important to quickly correct some of the speculation regarding the memory specs with real data. I'm glad I bought it. The performance matches or beats a Radeon 5750 - if you can live without DX 11, this is a bargain. Kudos to NewEgg's shipping dept. Ordered this on Thursday at 1:00 pm; received it on Friday at 3:00pm.

Pros: 625/750 core/memory, 512mb GDDR5 indeed. Comes with 4+4 to 8 pin power adapter. Comes with Crossfire cable.

Cons: None yet. Time will tell.

Overall Review: Disregard the first two reviews. I am also reviewing early because of those. Currently at default settings(latest ccc) idle 54c 32% fan speed It was 45c I believe in the other room with ac. Latest CCC seems to be keeping core/mem speeds at their highest even when idle in 2d. Pros: Price, performance, solid product! So far there have been 2 reviews by people who haven't purchased it saying it's DDR3. I have one in hand, just got it yesterday and the box, the card and newegg all say DDR5. From using it just for one day I'd say that it is indeed DDR5 as I noticed a performance increase from the same model card running 512MB DDR3.

Cons: None so far! We'll see if the rebate actually comes back though.

Overall Review: I bought this so I could steal my wife's 4850 to run in crossfire and now I almost wish I would have just got a pair of these. Some people may want to opt. for something with 1GB of memory but this runs fast enough that it shouldn't be a problem. For 90 bones w/ a 10 rebate you can't really go wrong with this baby. =)

Pros: 4850s are awesome cards. DDR 5 It seems quiet, at least in my Antec 900 that already has 5 120mm fans and 1 200mm fan.

Cons: Would be nice to have air blown out of case but in my Antec 900, not really an issue. Requires 8pin PCI-E adapter. My other 4850 only required a 6 pin.

Overall Review: Idles at 44c in a house set at 73f. Using ATI CCC and their automatic OC feature, it set the memory to 935 and processor at 655 (although current status reads processor at 500 and memory at 935)

Pros: GDDR5 as advertised, actual performance seems slightly better than a standard 4850 depending on the situation. Temps at stock speeds are far better than the 8800GT it replaced.

Cons: Would be nice to have a heatsink that blows air out the back of the case instead of relying on case airflow. 512 ram may be a bottleneck in higher res w/AA situations

Overall Review: Haven't tried overclocking yet, with proper overclocking it should be comparable to a 4870 with 512 ram.

Pros: card is DDR5 GPU is 625 DDR5 is 3000

Pros: I bought this card. The specs are GPU 625 and DDR5 is 3000 The clocks you see are GPU 625, DDR5 750 (x4 = 3000) It does have DDR5 Worth the money for me - the card works very nicely

Cons: No real cons for me But if they gave the card DDR5, they could have pushed the GPU speed up a little. The 4850 is not a strong overclocking GPU however.

Pros: Paid around 72.00 after 10% off and MIR. Temps are not bad, after extensive burnin it now idles at 49-50c for hours on end initally high mark was 72c (furmark) looping, now hours on end 68- 69c with auto fan settings . Oc settings gpu 670 and ram 925mhz all day long rock stable all gaming and torture tests, i use ms! afterburner.

Cons: Hate to give it a con for the price but wish it would have been loaded up with 1 gb of DDR5. And it has no voltage control.
