Still great 10/14/2013 8:00:33 AM

Pros: A great card. A real powerhouse when I bought it in 2008 and still more than adequate for running games on high (if not ultra) today. Minimal trouble installing it and getting it to run. Not particularly loud in my setup. Since I built my machine in 2008, I've learned a lot about computers. If I could go back in time, I probably would have built it a little differently - but I'd still have used this exact same graphics card.

Cons: I've had driver issues from time to time. But, over about five years of ownership, a couple blue screens is nothing. Had to disable crossfire to run some older games - not a problem with the card, though.

Being older and ATI, it doesn't always support the newest DirectX features, or Nvidia PhysX. Again, not a problem unique to this card!

Overall Review: The card cools well - but still produces a lot of heat by virtue of its high wattage. Kept my room a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house - useful in Fall and Winter, a little annoying in Summer without A/C.

Pros: Four monitors on one card!
Quite and responsive

Cons: Requires some software finesse to get all four monitors working.
Hard to come by now.

Overall Review: This monster is the center of my system. I used Crysis to test it and it was able to play at maximum capacity while still running other programs.

Manufacturer Response:
We now have the FleX series of graphics cards available which can offer up to 5 monitor outputs depending on your monitors input configuration.

3 Years and still awesome 10/7/2012 5:11:58 PM

Pros: Does very very well in games, even the newest games (MW3, BF3, GW2, etc.) Cooling is very good, isn't too loud (but that never bothered me), and very long lasting.

Cons: Drivers once in a blue moon can be very annoy, but that's old news. The new drivers are pretty good now.

Great Card especially for the money 3/9/2010 11:28:29 AM

Pros: Afordable card, 4 monitor ports, easy to install drivers/well updated drivers. Running many of the newer games at Max video settings for beautiful proformance. Using the same money I bought this card for, you will not find anything else come close in proformance.

Cons: Extreamly large card almost a full foot long, I had to cut my case to use it (still worth it). like many of the graphics cards it requires 600watt or better power supply (see specs page)

Overall Review: Do not let windows update install drivers in win 7 x64, use newest drivers from ATI website.
Measure your case to see if it will fit.

Big card - Great Performance 3/7/2010 6:34:56 AM

Pros: Runs 4 monitors off one card. Gaming is not my primary use of this card - it is needing a card for stock trading that runs four, 27" HP monitors @1920x1080. I hoped to go this route and save a PCI slot by using this rather than 2 video cards, and may spare myself any config. issues if the two cards didn't place nice with each other. It functions perfectly. The fans are quiet. Installed in Win7 Ultimate x64 with no issues.

Cons: It's really big. Measure your case carefully before buying one. I didn't have to hack my case, but others have had to modify and that may not be worth it for some. I had to do more experimenting and searching the web than I cared for to get all four ports to run 4 monitors. I didn't come across any documentation from the manufacturer that helped or described what to do to get 4 ports running (disable crossfireX).

Overall Review: Here and elsewhere others have complained that it will only support two monitors - not true. Enter Catalyst Control Center -> Graphics -> Crossfire X, and un-check "Enable CrossfireX". Win7 Ultimate x64 set it up with the latest drivers without a problem. Therefore, I did not install the Catalyst Control Center. I've installed the CCC on other machines and never used it. It seems that by default, CrossfireX is enabled on the card whether or not your install the CCC. The only way to disable it, or at least the way I did, was to install CCC, and then uncheck the CrossfireX option. Win7 will then "detect" your additional monitors.

Decent Card - Typical Flaws 3/3/2010 5:53:21 PM

Pros: Easy install in my full tower, Ran respectively cool considering it is 2 gpus. Finally got to play some Bioshock.

Cons: Well.. this is the second and LAST ATI card I have bought, the first one was a Sapphire and was DOA (Older model though, not this one) .. and this card.. well.. search the net for "VPU RECOVERY ERROR" that about covers it for me.

Overall Review: Ran Left 4 Dead 2 - max settings at 60fps constant.. very respectable, however... alot of flickering during loading screens, intermitten "mouse pointer" freezing on screen.. and if you are interested in Secondlife.. don't bother with this card.

This card ROCKS!!!!! 3/3/2010 10:47:03 AM

Pros: 2 Gpu's , 1600 pipelines , 2 Gigs ram , Sturdy construction , Sexy look. This card even w/o DX11 drivers blows Nvidia clean out of the water without a flinch.

Cons: Big, and can be bit warm.

Overall Review: I have owned one of these puppies for just over a year and have not been disappointed. I bought my second one now and have been running quad crossfire, and WOW games play even faster than before and I have no trouble maxing every single in game setting, as well as Catalyst setting. This Card is definitely the best bang for your buck even at $230. I am running with a Phenom 2.8 Ghz quad core on the Asus M4A79 Deluxe board, and find my Grafx even with just one card worked much smoother and more openly(settings wise) with this Mobo, and highly suggest it as well if you plan to go AMD.
