Pros: - Fast. I'm talking fast, as in, fastest card you can get your grubby paws on at this time for any amount of cash. Push high resolutions in the games you have always wanted to with AA/AF levels that we have only dreamed of until now. Crysis is more then completely playable at 1920x1440 res and an INSANE 16x AA. For the first time ever I am thinking I need more res then my 22" CRT can run. This card is amazing... - Performance will only increase even more as drivers mature. - Great bundle - Attractive black PCB and heatsinks - Works on any PCIE mobo, crossfire or not. - Typically quicker then two seperate 4870s in traditional crossfire, and that will only increase when the XSP is enabled for increased GPU to GPU bandwidth. - Futureproof. This thing has enough grunt to seriously extend the life of your system.

Cons: -Hot at stock fan settings(still trying to find a way to override them). So is every other high end card though...Raising the fan speed through software or getting an aftermarket cooling solution will help a lot. -Very power hungry.

Overall Review: "Crossfire" is always enabled internally on the card by default, nothing to set in control panels or fidget with. Feels like a single GPU card - no weird quirks or settings to test, just throw it in, update drivers if neccessary, and play games or bench like you never have before. Paired with Xeon 3110@4.5ghz, 2 gigs of DDR2, on an Asus Maximus Formula X38 board using the OCZ EliteXstream PSU with the single 62amp 12v rail - plenty of juice for even two of these beasts. This thing is cpu bottlenecked by ANYTHING. The more mhz it gets the happier it is. Not a good deal for those with low clocking quads and low res monitors. If you game at anything under 1600x1200 don't waste your money. Upgraded from two crossfire'd and overclocked BIOS modded X1900XTs...no comparison at all. 5/5, if you can afford it and they are in stock jump on one ASAP.

Pros: Worked right out of the box. I was able to overclock this card easily with a custom batch file that was created to change the voltage. Stock is (750/900), Overclock is (850/965) @ 1.3v. I had no trouble installing CCC 9.1 with this card but it did not add much performance boost. This card does run a little bit quieter than having 2x 4870 1GB's in CrossfireX. When the fan speed is set to 40%, my card runs around 40C-46C at stock.

Cons: Requires a 6-pin and 8-pin power connector. One fan cooling 2 GPU's so the first GPU is 5C cooler than the second one.

Overall Review: If you have ever seen naked pics of this card, you will notice the 2x GPU's and another chip not much smaller than the actual GPU's. This is the sideport chip. The sideport allows communication between the 2 GPU's instead of a CrossFire Bridge. The brigde allows 0.9GB/s of communication bandwidth while the sideport allows for 5GB/s. Nobody knows why this chip is still disabled. It has been disabled since launch and in my opinion, ATI is waiting for nVidia to put up a true competitor to the 4870X2. When this is done, all ATI has to do it release new drivers enabling the sideport which will increase the performance by 15%-20%.

Pros: Great video card with lots of power and incredible graphics.

Cons: fan may be a little noisy when cooling, no problem for me.

Overall Review: bought this card to match my msi oc 4870 x2 and now running in crossfire. The graphics are just insane and smooth. Running 9.4 drivers with no problems. Make sure you have a high end processor to run these cards or you will bottleneck.

Overall Review: Currently Have a XFX 780i Nvida Mobo & intel Q9550 3.83MHz O/C'd (Replaced (2) 9600GT in SLI) with this 4870 X2. For anyone wondering if you can run ATI on an Nvida Mobo YOU CAN RUN 1 ATI CARD but CAN NOT run 2 Cards in Crossfire. I have no Problems at all. Card fired up perfectly. Installed Catalyst 9.3 - as far as the nVidia GTX 295 - That was my 2nd choice ONLY! due to the current Price... Also I am Running a 850 PSU which is plenty of power. - I hope this helps anyone concerned about switching over to a ATI Card with an Nvidia Chipset Mobo. - Enjoy!!!

Pros: This card is Godly. It took framerates I had running on a radeon x1650 pro at 20-30fps on one of my games at minimum settings, and then with all settings MAXED it was sitting at 120fps and even under full load the lowest it went was 66fps(and only for all of 5 seconds).

Cons: Does run fairly hot. Try to keep any cables whatsoever from touching the top of the card as its hot enough to burn you just from touching it(I tested -_-). Its not hot enough to be a problem if you have even half decent fan cooling in your system though.

Overall Review: 400$ for the best video card in the world? You cant beat it. Do yourself a favor and buy this if youre looking for high end graphics processing whether for gaming, movies, or visual presentations.

Pros: Much better driver than the 3870 X2 had when it first came out. I purchased two of these to run in crossfire and unlike the 3870 X2s I replaced, which took me forever to get to run in crossfireX when I first purchased them, these were both recognized right away. Games all play at highest resolution and I suspect my new rig's Extreme Core i7 is likely having a hard time keeping up with the GPUs.

Cons: First size, these cards are massive and with a crossfireX array I only have room left over on an Asus Rampage Extreme II for a Asus Xonar sound card. Also heat is an issue and when I first received the cards the driver had the fans set at 40% and no way to change the speed without an aftermarket program. The cards were running close to 90c at idle. New drivers and a Catalyst Control Center have been released which allow you to change the default fan speed and at 80% the temps stay in the 40's to 50s c. I now have hooked them up to danger den water blocks and a sealed loop thermoelectric Coolit Elite peltier water cooling system and can recommend the Danger Den blocks for this card.

Overall Review: As an aside regarding graphics cards, I believe that both Nvidia and AMD have reached a point where they should take a breath and stop concentrating on shear speed through processing power and do something about heat issues, which will also improve performance. I cannot believe that some specialty laptop makers can wedge a quad core with desktop graphics into a laptop and keep it cool and yet AMD is still selling cards that idle out of the box at 90c. Even high flow fans and more copper could likely find you a few degrees but I think the time has come to build peltiers into graphics cards or come up with some innovative solution and AMD at the very least needs to shrink its die size.

Pros: Crysis Warhead runs 1680 x 1050 @ 20 fps or higher even with 8XAA in catalyst control center. Oblivion runs 120fps. Fallout 3 110fps. stalker 114fps ect. all other games except Crysis run perfectly except FarCry 1 which wont run at all sad.... But it tames everything else.

Cons: first one died, second one killed my Thermaltake tough power 850 watt PSU which is funny cause I didn't overclock anything! hope 1000 watt is enough for Q6600, 2 dvd burners, 2 HDD's, 1 PCI modem, 1 TV capture card and 1 fan. Editing the Bios is strongly recommended to increase fan speed to 45-50% minimum and max temp of 90C or The GFX card can burn through stuff it gets so hot! pulls roughly 630 watts in full load when not overclocked

Overall Review: Q6600 B3 2.4Ghz normally OC@ 3.2Ghz, 4GB DDR2 800, 500GB HDD, 2 DVD Burners, Twinhan 3054 TV Capture card, ASUS P5K Deluxe, ASUS silent Square CPU cooler. 1000watt Thermaltake toughpower.

Pros: Great card... Runs COD4 between 150-300fps Crysis wars VERY high 1920x1200 @ an average 33fps I can even run FRAPS and record videos while playing crysis =]

Cons: Ive had weird problems ever since i installed it. The computer wouldnt boot forever.. i first thought it was a power issue or maybe a bad card. I googled the red light error and some charts told me that the R819 led meant it had a "thermal problem" but after messing with it for awhile i reset the cmos and it booted :D Unfortunately this isnt the end of my problems... i cant overclock my computer the same that i could with my other card. I have a 9950BE @ 3.5 and i cant seem to get it above 3.2 now. Zzzz I also had a very stupid moment and hooked both power cables up to the same line coming from the PSU. That was drawing wayyyy too much power from one strand of wires and the video card was only getting 7900 points in 3dmark vantage. After i changed some power cables around i was getting over 12-13k :) Its a GREAT card... i little picky with my overclock and a couple stupid moves by me... but it makes me happy :D

Overall Review: GET IT NOW =] I hope the price doesnt drop in a few days lol... i just got a 9950BE and the price dropped over $50 in 3 days. =[
