Great while it lasted, now waiting on RMA 11/14/2017 7:32:33 PM

Pros: Ran great for a couple months.

Cons: Now my computer won't even boot with this card installed. Tried in several other computers, same problem. Tech support was quick to escalate the issue now I am waiting on the RMA number to be issued. Will follow up to let everyone know how the RMA process goes. It has been really fast so far but now it's been about 24H without hearing a word.

Works well BUT 8/2/2017 1:36:43 AM

Pros: Low cost at current pricing levels.
Good cooling.
Identifies as a standard Nitro, so no driver issues.

Cons: The plate with the DVI port should have been opened up more like the OTHER Sapphire mining-specific cards, not doing so makes the card run probably 2-3 degrees hotter as it doesn't allow for as good of airflow as a more open plate would have.

Bios Mod problems 7/19/2017 3:37:53 PM

Pros: stock at 23-24 mh/s very quiet and cool.

Cons: was successful bios mod with atiwflash but the system wont recognize my gpu as ATI card. i copy timing straps from 1625 to 1700 and 2000 like others did. i don't know whats i did wrong. Will try again and update back. any help will be great thanks.

Overall Review: this card build for mining. it would be easier if we dont have to bios mod to get better hashrate

Does ok. 7/12/2017 9:13:38 PM

Pros: Not a bad card for the price. I can pull about 25.5 Mh/S from the card I got.

Cons: No real cons. Just did not get the rates most seem to get from the card I received.

Overall Review: Was a little disappointed with the OC ability. I copied the straps as most do for these cards but saw little if any improvement. It proved unstable with the memory OC'd to anything over about 1900. 25.5 Mh/s is ok. My GTX 1070's all went to around 29 Mh/s easily but they are pretty much twice the price. Maybe more tweaking will get me a little more performance but for the price this card isn't so bad.

Update:
I was able to eventually get the card up to 27Mh/s stable. Gained another 100mhz on the memory OC and got it up to 2000.

Cool quiet fast Ethereum Mining Card 7/10/2017 9:23:52 AM

Pros: At default, it gets ~23.6 Mh/s. After copy the faster memory timing at 1625MHz to 1750MHz and 2000MHz, and slight memory OC to 2050, slight core under clock to 1150 MHz, it sits ~27.6 Mh/s and 80W GPU power draw. Fan speed at 55% cools the core at < 60 C.

Cons: Not sure if it is my adapter issue, but but the DVI output can't go over 1080p when converted to HDMI port.

Gets around 23-30 MH/s Ethereum 7/7/2017 3:15:41 PM

Pros: The card looks like a Nitro RX Gaming in disguise (the fans still say gaming on it!). Yes, you'll get one DVI port so it has utility after mining (and resale value) since dual link supports 2560 × 1600 and there are plenty of adapters to get them into HDMI or Displayport. If you mod the BIOS and make some clock tweaks you can get this up to 30 MH/s. If you dual mine, don't play with the BIOS or clocks. If you are going to mess with it, Samsung memory is believed to offer the best tolerance and performance.

Cons: Basically no documentation on the internal clock/specs from Sapphire so hard to confirm anything. It's performing exactly like my other 'gaming' RX470, but would be nice to have more information about the changes in the mining edition.

Overall Review: AMD cards are much, much better at surviving the future epoch difficulty changes than NVIDIA with less of a loss in hash rate, which is why they are preferred. If this is in stock, get it. Honestly, there are good values with 460/560s right now too (half the hashrate, but less than half the price and half the power) if you don't want to shell out for this.

Sapphire mining card. Samsung memory 7/3/2017 9:48:57 PM

Pros: Not bad for a mining card. I got it to 27.5mh. Core is at 1150. memory at 2025. -60 voltage. 54c with the fan at 81%. Pulls 120 watts at the wall. GPU-z says it is using 74 watts.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Copy your 1625 strap to your 1700 and 2000 strap. That is what I did.
