Pros: With the latest Catalyst drivers (6.5) and 2 of these running in crossfire mode, I scored an amazing 9500 in 3Dmark05!
Cons: My cards seem to be locked against overclocking (ATITool just makes the computer freeze up) ...but oh well, (keep reading)
Overall Review: One thing I was able to do to get higher 3Dmark numbers was overclock the PCI-Express frequency in the MoBo bios. A 15% overclock shot my score up around 500 points. I keep it at that and the system runs very stable. If you try this, just be careful not to clock it to high and fry the video cards or the motherboard. I can only imagine the numbers I could get if I could overclock the video cards as well. My system Asus A8R-MVP Athlon X2 3800 @ 2.25Ghz 2 Sapphire X1600XT’s 2 Gigs of Ram
