Was there a fix for the pci=e slot from dying? Also what about the power limit?

The PCIE slot power problems were resolved with the most recent AMD catalyst update. I am not sure what you mean by power limit, it is advertised at 150 watts of max use and some over lockers found it reaching as much as 180 watts. I would worry much about this as any 500 watt PSU can handle this load and you won't see as high of watt use as long as you don't overclock, again you will only use that amount if the GPU is under load.

Sorry but due to the high demand of the card and since it's there new flagship card people buy them as fast as they are stocked. I would recommend you put in for a auto notify when it comes in stock

Length is 9.5 Inches, Wide is ~ 4 inches, and Height is ~ 1.5 Inches (two PCI slots which is normal)

I see NewEgg lists the memory speed for the 4G cards as 8 GHz, but several reviews have said the 4G cards would have 7GHz memory, at least initially. Are NewEgg's specifications correct?

Not sure when this will be available again. I ordered mine the day it came out and didn't ship till 3 weeks after when they finally had a shipment. It just depends. Also its good to have a lot of patience. Over all it was well worth the wait for me.
