Will this card work well with a PCIe 2.0 mobo? Will it cause problems?

All of the newer cards are compadable with all of the PCI express slots. Going from PCI 3 down to two isn't bad but 3 to 1 can really kill the performance. It is possible but not recommended if you want to get the most out of your card.

Question 2

The card is described as being 9 inches long. How accurate is the measurement? because my case can fit a GPU just over 9 inches long before i have to start removing drive cages

I measured mine this morning as it was installed in my case. From the back of the case to the front of the card is just a whisker under 8 inches, BUT the 6 pin power connector is on the front of the card. The card with power connector is roughly 8.5 inches long.

Yes it's very simple to install, I just built a computer for Christmas and I'm using this card and the same asus motherboard And they both run beautifully! Highly recommend this card and the asus m5a97

Is this card backwards compatible with a mobo slot that is PCIe 1x16?

Hi, we just installed this into a Dell Inspiron 620 that has a pcie 1x16 slot in it - it works fine, with a power supply upgrade.  Hope that helps.

Is this a good option? How many of these can be run with an a10 and/or this Mobo?

It would depend on the PSU. You could run them in Crossfire if you would like, but I am happy with just one. It just really depends on the type of performance you want. Your CPU Sseems fine, but when the Mantle API is launched you may see some performance with that also.

How does the included BF4 game work - is there documentation in the package with download instructions and a key?  Thanks!

Not necessarily documentation of it, just a little slip that includes they key where you will login to Origin to claim it. If somehow it doesn't show up in your package they should be generous and supply you with another.

Question 7

So is this card an Radeon R9 270 or 270X? It has more stream processors then the Gigabyte R270 but requires only 1 6 pin power connector. Anyone out there that can help sort this out?

This is a 270, the xfx also 270 also has 1024 stream processors....the other 270x have 1280 stream processors but use more power and are clocked higher (about 1000mhz or more base clock).  There is a good article on anandtech on the 270 and 270x.  Its seems as if this is a super 7850.
