which External Hard Drive Enclosure do I use ? & which works the best ?

Get a hard drive enclosure that has good cooling and is USB 3.0.  The best place to start would be looking at them on this site and look for the highest rated one according to other users then, depending on what price you are willing to go with, look for the one that has a good balance of price and features.  But remember cooling is critical and the USB 3.0 controller that the enclosure uses works good.  Some enclosures do not work as good as others in that respect

For BarraCuda Pro line on the Seagate website it shows a default warranty of 5 years.  Why is it listed here with only a one year warranty and options for extended warranty at $49 and up?
