Is this drive compatible with a hp 15-10009wn?

I'd like to see your notebook before stating with 100% certainty but I( do have many years of experience repairing, modding, and building PCs and AFAIK the only major difference between the stock HP drive and the Seagate is the speed, 5400 rpm vs/ 7200 which has no compatibility issues and only means the Seagate will be faster.  You'll actually feel the improvement.  It's standardized in height and width and since it'sd thinner than most I see no reason it wouldn't physically fit.  As long as the HP doesn't use some proprietary I/O connector (which would be a huge surprise to me, but still likely adaptable) I just cannot see any reason you wouldn't love it.
