I can't imagine for this price that these are brand new. However, we have never had any issues and we have been ordering these and other similar brands for years.

Question 2

What is the warranty period for:  Seagate ST3500414CS ???  As of 3/24/2019, the bullet point summary says, "2 Years Warranty from Reseller", Warranty & Returns tab says 1 year, and the Overview tab is for another product.  You need to be clear about this if you expect people to buy.

Will this fit my old 2006 MAC PRO?

No it will not. This is a 3 1/2' hard drive. I don't even think a 2006 MacBook can get more storage. Either research if it can get a new hard drive and buy a 2 1/2' SSD. Or a 2 1/2' hard drive. I recommend the SSD. It's significantly faster
