Pros: worked great when it worked. stable voltage . warning !!!! read other thoughts
Cons: burnt out motherboard. two router lan socket even the inputs on my 42inch lcd monitor
Overall Review: i was using this with a intel 35w cpu setup. the max wattage it used was 66watts. it was a security camera server DVR on all the time 24/7 I came home the other day it was 96f in the room where this was setup and the computer was off . to make a long story short. the computer was burnt out, even the lan socket and the lan socket next to the one this computer was connected to non functional on a asus ac66 router burnt out . the 42 inch lcd monitor inputs are all burnt out. this power supply cost me a fortune. i have 2 security dvr's one has a pc power and cooling power supply next to this one and all fine no problem i always used pc power and cooling power supplies and they not failed me even under extreme heat conditions over 100f .very sorry i didn't this time with this computer. am i upset what you think ? fuming mad want to sue seesonic i know it not the best being its a non standard form factor still seesonic is a good brand and this never should have happened. i have even used cheepo power supplies $16 real cheepos didn't even do this. yes they failed but with out damaging anything i so upset about this you have no idea and have lost faith i do have seesonics fanless top ratted power supply and its one of the best . it works way beyond it ratted specs even in extreme temps and confirmed by many professional reviews. i wanted as small of a footprint as possible with mini itx case and this power supply. it not worth it, going back to cases that use standard power supplies. it would have been one things if this power supply just failed but for it to burn out my 42inch lcd monitors inputs. the monitor works just the inputs are burnt out and the routers ports the computer was plugged into. come on. this power supply can not be trusted and is garbage i suppose if you have ac on all the time and keep temps under 80f it will be fine otherwise don't buy this power supply.
