Needed more power for water cooling system with 9 fans, pump, gtx780x2, ivy bridge system. Custom sleeved it so it was great that it was completely modular. Probably more power than I needed but I felt more comfortable using this than continue using my 850w corsair unit

Question 2

I've run my current build through a couple different psu calculators and running 3 gtx 908's SLI recommend the need for a 1250w psu. Will this PSU deliver the power I need without incident or should I go for more wattage? I'm not sure if what these calculators recommend are the minimun or maximum (is maximum even a thing?). Intel i7 5930k, X99 mobo, 4x8GB DDR4 RAM, Liquid CPU Cooler (Corsair H100i), 1x SSD, 1x HDD, 3x EVGA 980 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB SLI, standard DVD-ROM, HT | Omega Claro Halo PCI sound card, all in all maybe 6-8 case fans.

From what you briefly described as your parts list, your system will run about 800 Watts at load.  Without knowing what your actual build parts are totally, this is my best guess.  
Your power supply should be sized to run in the range of 30% to 80% for the best efficiency and to take into account aging as the years progress. If my guess is correct about your usage you are at about 64% so you still have headroom and should be good to go using this excellent power supply.

Could this fit on a Phantek endo pro or endo luxe?

I have one in a Enthoo Primo...  wish we put one in the Enthoo Luxe build.  My son chose a EVGA G2 1000 and the PSU fan is the only thing you can hear from the Luxe Build

I am having that common blackscreen issue with my R9 series 290 GPU (Sapphire R9 290 vapor-x OC Edition) only when I try to moderately overclock it. Sometimes it will reboot and I have to restart in safemode, delete the preset file in the Trixx utility folder, than restart it back to its default clock settings. I can, however OC it slightly, but any more than an increase of 75 on the gpu clock and 60 on the memory clock will cause the issues I mentioned. Is this something that a better power supply will fix? Otherwise the card runs fantastic. I'm interested in this PSU because I thought it might help. I currently have an Antec 750watt that still runs like a champ after 3 years. So, is it possible that this PSU will fix that issue. I am only running one card but several fans (13) and an ssd, speakers, hdd, all the usual stuff. Thanks in advance for any insight on this.

Yup.  I spent a while looking for whether this PSU has multiple rails, and never got an answer - seems it doesn't.  I upgraded to an ANTEC High Current Pro 1300W modular PSU (which has four 12v rails) and put my TRI-X R9 290X's onto separate rails, and my 990FXA-UD7 onto another rail, with everything else on the last rail, and have had zero issues with power handling since.  This PSU has a lot of output, but it seems to be inconsistent in its delivery when there are multiple high draw components.

Question 5

This lists on the top of the page at the SS-1250XM2 when it fact the Pics are of the 2 year old SS-1250XM and there are important differences. The same is true of the SS-1050XM2 when in fact it is the SS-1050XM shown ?

Uh, my box says X-1250 (SS-1250XM Active PFC F3) not SS-1250XM2.  I think it's pretty much luck of the draw, if the egg still has the older ones they'll sell them until gone.  I had the same convern with my Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7, there's only one page for it but at the time I bought mine there were 3 revisions of the board and I was lucky enough to get a Rev 3 (which supports the high watt CPUs) as opposed to a rev 2 or rev 1 (which do not support said CPUs) and there's nothing to indicate on the page what you are getting, nor is there a way to specify or request a particular iteration of it.

Hi, the R9 295X2 needs 28 Amps for each 8 pin connection.   Can I use one PCIE cable or should I use two separate cables and use 8 pin connector from each?   Thanks.

I would use 2, but that's just me.  That way you're not splitting the power and you have a full load out of each cable.

Question 7

Can I purchase cables in different lengths if one is to short?  Researching a full tower build.

As far as I know, the cables you get are already packaged with the power supply. You may be able to purchase jumpers to extend the length but, you could probably purchase them at Newegg also.  I have a full tower and had ample length with the cables supplied with my SeaSonic X-1250.  The only additional jumpers I needed were for my fans which I wanted to use to plug into my motherboard headers for my onboard controller.  Fan header cables are not included in the kit.

Is this SS-1050XM2 or SS-1050 ?

XM2 is second revision. In title it says XM2 but description refers to previous model.. Which is true ?

To be honest I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it took me about a minute to google Seaconic's homepage and find a specs sheet for this PSY so go do that and poke around.  I can say I've had this PSY in my box and running for a bit over a year now with zero issues.  And I've used Seasonic power supplies in the last 3 personal PC boxes I've built, all with no problems.  Compared to my luck with various EVGA products (video cards, motherboards, etc) I'm much happier with Seasonic on average.

Will this power my MSI Big Bang-XPower and NVIDIA GTX470?
Motherboard has ATX24 + ATX8 + ATX8 + ATX6
Video Card has ATX6 + ATX6.
