Is a carrying case included?

No carrying case or bag is included. However, there are cases that it should fit in (and most felt bags, of course). The earpieces do not fold flat like DJ headphones, but they do have a little bit of twist, squeeze and separation to them. Also, the cable is removable at the headphones.

The sound quality on these is phenomenal to my ears. If you can get them for less than $150, paying a little extra for a case or bag could be worthwhile.

Surround sound?

They are not surround sound-just "regular" sound.  : ) They have a very clear, warm sound and you really hear everything. Super comfortable over your ears. I think they sound best when used with a Headphone Amp but you don't need a Headphone Amp to use them. I hope this helps! : )

Compatible with iMac computer?

Yes ma'am, these headphones will work on anything that has a standard 3.5mm audio jack, or 6.3mm jack.

Not sure what you're asking. The cable is 10ft standard but is removable so if you want to buy a shorter or longer cord you can.
