Don't know if they sell a left hand mouse, though I'm left handed. I just bought what's sold here and it's for right handed, but I can use it.

How many batteries does it take, and how long does it last?

2 AAA batteries.
When the mouse is not in use it turns off till u click a button.  I have had batteries in came with for a month and half and they r still going strong

I was wondering if you are able to pair this mouse with another computer w/o the bluetooth wireless receiver that it is assigned to. I have a wireless bluetooth receiver that is for another mouse, but I do not know how to get the Sharkk mouse into a sort of pairing mode. Is there a way that I can connect the Sharkk mouse with a different bluetooth wireless receiver, and if so, how?

If the mouse in question is in fact a Bluetooth mouse and not just a wireless
optical mouse it will connect with any Bluetooth capable computer. Does the
mouse have a Bluetooth emblem on the back of the mouse?

Is the scroll 1 axis or 2 axis scrolling?

The scroll wheel only does one axis ( up and down).  Hope this helps.
