It's a portable way to charge your phone, tablet, or basically anything that can be charged from a standard USB port. This thing is a large battery that you charge up then it can provide power to USB devices. For example:  you're out somewhere that a wall charger is not available and your iPhone (or whatever) is really low on battery but you have a critical phone call to make. Well, good thing you have one of these in your backpack/purse/pocket, because now you can plug your phone into this and have plenty of power to make that call, and fully charge your phone several times.

I keep this in my backpack at all times. It comes in handy especially at airports when everyone else is hogging up all of the outlets and charging stations. It is advertised as 10400mAh, which I think is quite overstated, it definitely would not fully charge my 2000mAh phone battery 5 times, maybe 3-4, but it still provides plenty of juice in those situations where you desperately need a boost.

Question 2

I have two of these... Anyone know what would happen if I used them in serial. Would I gain anything, would I hurt anything... In essence: Net Effect?

There wouldn't be any thing gained by using them in serial.  The transfer of energy from the external battery to another device (phone, tablet, another external battery, etc.) is a lossy process.  Heat is generated in the external battery, the cables and the connectors and the device being charged.

You don't get 100% of the energy stored in the external battery transferred to the device being charged. Therefore by transferring the energy from one external battery to another and then to the destination device you have doubled the energy lost in transfer.  Using one external battery and then switching to the second eliminates one of these energy loses.

Most of these external batteries don't have the electronics onboard to handle charging while discharging at the same time.  I have several that say specifically not to charge the external battery while using it to charge something else at the same time.  It will damage the unit.  I have also seen some external batteries (larger, very expensive ones) that do say they can be charged while discharging.  I have a 20,000mAh external that says it can be charged while discharging.

Best rule of thumb is if the instructions don't say specifically that the external battery can be charged while discharging, don't risk it!

how long doe sit take to charge the FREMO P100?

It is largely going to depend upon your supply charger. If you are feeding it a good 2amps it could take nearly 5 hours to get fully charged. For me I leave it overnight on my little slow charger and it can take about 10-12 hours. I'm not sure if you can estimate the charge time by the type of charger you use (10400/supply, eg. 10.4Ah/1A = 10h) but expect it to take some time.

Plug it in overnight and then charge it up pretty well. I have even charged a phone through it while charging the battery. Once the phone is charged the FREMO takes the rest.

This power bank do not include a wall charger.
only include a cable that is usb en one side and lighting in the other side (Iphone 5).
You can charge this power bank with any usb charger

Does anyone know if the 18650 batteries inside are user replaceable when they wear out?

Not replaceable.  But I haven't had any problems with the current ones. I bought two about 4 months ago and they work perfectly.  Besides it would probably be more expensive to replace the batteries than to buy a new unit.

You can only recharge one device at at time. Seems to hold a charge for a long time, since I don't use it often.

Can you plug this into other countries wall outlets via USB and be fine with their power or is this only to be used in 120v outlets?
