Is this device GSM Unlocked like it says in the product listing?

This device is gsm unlocked. Just be sure to check compatibility. I have cricket which is on At&t's network and the phone gave me issues with data streaming. The phone is a T-Mobile branded phone and will be 100% compatible with their network. FYI it's a pretty awesome phone.
