Is there anyway I can run this using Windows 7?

Why would you want to?  This is a cell phone processor and needs a lightweight OS.  I don't believe Win 7 runs on ARM. I do believe there is a version of Windows 8 for ARM based processors, but I'm sure it would be as expensive as the Cubox-i, if not more so, and likely pretty cumbersome.  I am running GeexBox on my Cubox-i, which is a lightweight Linux based OS dedicated to run XBMC.  Seems pretty stable.

Question 2

I bought one of these. The product description says "XBMC Add On". Can someone tell me what that means? I cannot find any mention of XBMC in the Android OS that came loaded with the unit.

If you're using Android, you might have to install XBMC yourself.  If you Google xbmc for Android, you should find a wiki for how to install.  I've been using xbmc nightly builds on an OUYA (Android) for a while with no problems.

There is also a Linux image for the Cubox I4 Pro called Geexbox.

how long does this take to ship.  does this remain on backorder for a long time?

I found the back time/ship date at NewEgg  is accurate for this item.

It works well out of the box, but I have not had time to really experiment with it yet. Worked fine on streaming video from Comcast and Netflix.

there is a note on page that states that power supply and sd card included with pre-order.  Just want to verify.

I didn't receive my item yet but I believe yes, as it is some kind of a pre order promotion,  if my order doesn't come with a power supply/sd card definitely I will contact Newegg and ask for them

4GB and it is pre-loaded with Andriod.  If you want Linux, you will have to build it yourself.

The i4 Pro came with a 4GB class 4 MicroSD card with OS on it.  The card is already in the slot so don't look around the box for it.  Booted up fine and I am pleased.  That being said, I would make sure I bought an additional card or more. 1) so I can have more wiggle room; 2) faster card; 3) I am sure I will want to try a couple of configurations out to decide which is best for me and 4) it does not come with the SD card adapter that I may want and I can use the adapter from card #2 with card #1.

Low power?  What is the Volts and amps? (or even the watts) thanks

It will depend on the power requirements for any USB devices added. I have been able to run it on a 5v, 1 amp adapter.

Can this use Raspberry PI compatible OS's, like say Emulation Station?

Yes and no.  I think you are really referring to the RetroPie OS built for the Raspberry Pi, which then runs Emulation Station.  Emulation Station is a front end for emulators on the Raspberry Pi, and other linux distributions.  RetroPie and the other custom OS's for the Raspberry Pi, such as Raspbian, are NOT compatible with the Cubox due to their differences in hardware.

That said, you are able to install custom linux distributions built for the Cubox which are found on the Solid Run website.  From there, you could load Debian, the OS that is the basis of Raspbian and RetroPie, and then install Emulation Station and the emulators required.

Bottom line, Emulation Station will work (very well) with this device but there's a little more work involved in setting this up right now versus the Raspberry Pi.

does it come with us power adapter or international power adapter?? i mean 110V only or both 110V and 220V ???

The plug is for US/North America. However, the adapter is rated for 240V, 50 Hz as well. Plug adapters, as I am sure you know, are quite inexpensive and would be all that was needed.

Question 10

Can you install steam on this?  Not necessarily the OS but atleast the steam application?  I want a box to set next to my tv and use steam in home streaming.

This device is still in development stage. If you are thinking to make it work "like ready to go" for video streaming, you need a BIG good luck. If you have a spare time and computing is your hobby then this toy is good for you.

The support page on their website is secret and they just want you to buy this mini computer.

For video streaming I would suggest you a real quad core intel processor.
