Is this US model or grey market? Brand new or refurbished?

Thank you for contacting us with your question. The item is brand new. It will come closed in the original retail package with manufacturer seal. Normally, if the item was refurbished or open box it would be listed on the product page. This will come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

I want this camera, but am fearful it won't perform as advertised with nikon lenses. Can you give me any encouragement or hope, recommendations, etc?

I am using Canon lenses with the Fotodiox, Lens mount adapter. Works great! I have not tried Nikon lenses yet, but I feel like they would adapt similar.

So far I have not even used any native Sony lenses.
