I don't have a fancy flat screen TV... I still have a paper weight TV.. old box.... Do I need any special cable to use with this DVD to take advantage of all it's features??

First, to make everything work for you, you need to have a computer nearby with a modem and router that is wifi compatible.  The hook up to older TV is not a problem, no special cables required.  But on the set up for the Sony Blue Ray you will need to enter the WEP Code which is in your router/modem.  If you don't know your code check with your cable or satellite provider.  Since the older TV is analog, you will need a small converter box from your cable/satellite provider to convert digital signals for you.  I rent mine for $1.60 a month.  Your picture quality will improve, but it will not be HD on the older TV.  You can stream all sorts of different programs or just play BlueRay or regular DVD's.  Hope this helps.
