Does this have wired connectors (HDMI etc ) or is it all wireless?

You connect to monitor via wired HDMI. You connect to your router either wireless or wired. The wireless is poor, bought 4 for home. 2 failed within 7 months, all failed within a year. If you must use the Sony, I would buy a range extender with ethernet connector and use it to access my router. This gave me much better results than wireless

What connectors are on the back?  Is there an RJ-45 (wired  Ethernet connector)? Digital Audio?  There are a dozen pictures of the front of the player but not a single photo of the back of the player.

The title says is has 4k upscaling, but the description says its only 1080p. Which is it really?

it has a 4k lablel inked on mine but I don't have a 4k display have not tested it.

When was this manufactured?

these boxes were produced in 2015-2017. While they are a good box, they are not supporting so many channels such as Hulu on 8/13/19, therefore, I would recommend the Roku for streaming. The DVD/BluRay player is fine. Again, if your interest is streaming, this is not the box, very slow, limited support of various channels.

Does this play Region B Blu Ray films?

This is supposed to work. I haven't tried it:

Use the Sony remote to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it;
Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the OneForAll remote. The light will start flashing;
Put the player back into standby with the Sony remote.
