It could though it wasn't really the intended purpose for this design. However, it's not a bad idea considering the sound quality from this microphone is incredible. For the purpose you describe, though I wouldn't have thought of this mic, I believe it will do exactly what you desire with excellent results. Caution: There are A LOT of counterfeits out there for cheaper prices so be very cautious...the savings is not worth the sacrifice of quality. I wouldn't buy from anyone else but NewEgg! This mic is becoming a huge success in the GoPro World due to the incredible clarity of sound added to unmatched video. This would be an excellent choice!
