Record home movies in HD with the HDR-UX7 from Sony. The ClearVid CMOS sensor records 1080 lines of resolution in HD mode, 530 lines in SD mode and has 6.1MP still image performance. The CMOS sensor does all this with less power than a CCD for longer battery life. In front of the sensor is a coated Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens set with a 10x optical zoom to reduce unwanted flares and glares so your shots are crisp and pure.

The Smooth Slow Record feature makes this a great sports training tool. The record rate is increased from 60fps to 240fps for three seconds allowing you to capture a golf or bat swing. When the video is played back it takes 12 seconds so you can analyze every detail so you can better your technique. Capture those miraculous moments like a bird in flight or the crest of a breaking wave.

So you’re off on vacation and want to spend an evening watching the movies you’ve taken so far, all you have to do is put the disk into a DVD player and enjoy. What, your hotel room doesn’t have a DVD player? Then plug the camcorder into the TV with the supplied AV(composite) or component cables. With the optional cables you can also attach it to an S-Video or HDMI port.
