I bought and did not like this item and bought the Killer Concepts Rocksteady XS Portable Bluetooth Stereo Speaker with Speakerphone (Black) VG2150-BT-A it was perfect and does work with iphone for less money

Do you need to have bluetooth for it to work?

No.  It has a jack to directly plug your device into as well as Bluetooth.  It gets loud and sounds great!

Question 3

This product says it is only compatible with the iPhone 5.  Will we be able to plug it into a computer?  The 3.5mm audio jack seems standard, is there something that makes it only compatible with the iPhone 5?

This speaker is much more versatile than stated.  Aside fro BT, you can use the stabdars 3.5mm to connect any current mobile device directly to it. 3.5mm stereo plugs are the standard, with adaptors, you can go beyond those devices as well. It can provide amplified sound from virtually anything when you think about it. The description doesn't give it justice.

i downloaded the fox on the go tv show app on my Samsung relay phone but the sound is not loud enough. can i connect a speaker to my phone that has an adjustable sound to pick up better sound?  if so please tell me what i need to do and or use which adapters. is it possible to pick the sound up by my car radio sound system? thx any help will be appreciated. i travel and u cant get reception in the mountains but my cell will pick it up and i would like to use it through my car radio is this possible

I can't find the blunote on my Bluetooth devices anymore why doesent it come up on my devices?
