i Have a Laptop and my internal graphics card isn't working properly can this replace my internal grapics device and use an external monitor to work with the Laptop as my main screen?

I'm not sure how you would ever get the trigger driver loaded.  If you could get the driver loaded, i think it would still be a challenge to get your operating system to recognize and utilize this monitor.  With both windows 7 and 8 an external driver must be loaded for proper operation.

Recently purchased a Dell Latitude 15" 3000 Series.  Am told that to use 2 additional screens (in addition to the built in) i need a docking station.  Will this adapter do the trick or do i really need a docking station?  I feel as though Dell is trying to talk me into a $200 add-on.

I have a dell pc that has the video card builtin and no expansion slots. This adapter worked great to add an additional monitor (32" flat screen tv). Installation was simple. Downloaded software and change settings to dual monitors. Works well when I need 2 monitors, just plug the adapter into a usb port.

Will there be any problems using this to play music from the SDRAM through my car radio USB port?

won't work that way... it's output device not an input device.. Your car radio would have to load drivers, to use this device.. Since a car radio usb port is for input media (flash drive), it's not for output devices.

Mine is a old computer without any support for dual monitor. I want to use this for connecting another monitor to my computer. 
Will we have any compatibility issues ? Are there any mother board specifications for compatibility ?

I think it will work. Only catch is to make sure this device has a driver for your operating system. I habe used it on most evry windows OS...

Sorry, I'm not sure about that. We are attaching this to a laptop so the user can have a second or third monitor.
