Wanted to know if optical mice register well on this surface of pad? I own a Death Adder 2013, a C.M. Spawn, and am waiting for my wireless logitech g602 mouse to arrive. So, all my mice are optical, and I use a ss Qck but I am tired of cloth pads I think I would like a change of speed and pace. So, I wanted to know if this or if there are any recommendations for hard pads from anyone that has my mice or knows how they work with the said mouse pad. Please help me !! so indecisive

I bought two of these. One for my PC that I use to game on and one for my work computer. Laser or optical, both work very well. If the mouse doesn't have large pads on the bottom like the steelseries mice do you may experience a very slight rough texture. I personally hate a soft mouse pad as it create a lot of drag and can put extra strain on your hand and wrist after working all day. The hard surface is perfect and the specific texture used provides a precision feel and great tracking.

You already said you are tired of the soft pad. You're going to kick yourself for not changing sooner.
