Pros: - Very highly rated on Linus Tech Tips PSU Tier List. KitGuruTech also recommends it with 8.5/10 rating. It's a well-engineered product, even if the brand isn't very familiar in the North American market to the average DIY PC builder. - Quiet, fully modular. Quality Japanese capacitors - these make a huge difference in product longevity. - Cables are far easier to handle than the lower-tier unit that this replaces, and are all-black. - 24 + 10 pin ATX connectors. Dual 8-pin CPU power connectors. This unit can handle pretty high-end motherboards. - 10 year warranty.
Cons: - Box design not on par with competition - this needs improvement for sure. People do judge a product by its cover, and the competition has far better box design.
Overall Review: I run a Ryzen 7 3700X with a Zotac GTX 1650 Super. This unit should be able to handle an Nvidia RTX 3080, going by their spec. I'm going to upgrade my GPU when stocks are better (currently no RTX 3080 anywhere and AMD Radeon 6000 series is not launched yet). My target resolution is 1440p\144 Hz. However, I suspect that this PSU will be enough for 4K as performance per watt increases next 3-5 years. (In Sep 2020, we have Nvidia at Samsung 8 nm and AMD at TSMC 7 nm fabrication processes). This product has 2 PCIe power connectors - this should be enough for all mainstream (gaming-focused) GPUs. I probably bought more PSU than I need right now, but 750 W is required for a 3080-class GPU, going by various reviewer findings. Got a small rebate for buying this PSU, a bonus at a time when other better-known 750 W PSUs were pretty much sold out. Seller took care of rebate after purchase. This is a top-tier PSU, hopefully it will become better known in the US as time goes by.
