Can someone recommend a heatsink that is compatible with this motherboard? I have now tried 2 that don't fit despite the box saying they are socket 2011 compatible. The RAM slots are proving to make things very difficult.

SUPERMICRO SNK-P0050AP4 Heatsink for Supermicro X9DR3-F Motherboard I utilized this exact heatsink with the X9SRL-F motherboard without any problems. Clearances are fine for this combo.

Does this board ship with BIOS version 3 to support E5-2600 v2 chips?

The motherboard that I received included BIOS version 3.0a I did not have to update the BIOS version. I was able to install a Xeon E5-2630 v2 without any problems. This is a GREAT MB and runs ESXi 5.5 perfectly.

Does this board support more than 25 watts of power in the PCI-e slots? My storage card requires 50 watts (75 would be even better). Thanks

PCI-E specs are 75w maximum draw, I assume this is true for any motherboard that utilizes PCI-E slots. I have a Radeon 270x in one of the PCI-E 16x slots (with additional 6-pin power of course) and I've had no problems whatsoever.
