Full frame lenses are compatible on crop sensor cameras as well as full frame cameras. You cannot go the other way around however.  This lens should be fine on your camera.

Yes.

Yes AF and IS both work fine, but early batch canon mount lens had AI Servo focus issue, which is corrected in later batches released after Jan 2014, if the lens happened to be from early batch Tamron is upgrading firmware to fix this issue.

Don't have lens with me at the moment, but I think it was made in Japan. (Possibly with some parts made in China.)

If this is a lens for US, why does it show only 1-year warranty? Tamron specifically gives a 6-yrs warranty for the US version of this lens?
