Pros: Good blank media have never had a bad burn that I can blame on the media itself got at good price factor

Cons: Packaging let me down again this was shipped smart post through FedEx and USPS and the top of the box was broken off and I had to pick up the media out of box and put back on spindle none of the discs appeared damaged, this is not the first time inadequate packaging has damaged storage boxes

Pros: They were on sale for less than nine bucks, and they work.

Overall Review: TDKs are one of the brands that have always worked for me so when they're on sale I grab some.

Overall Review: I got these in lieu of payment for a small computer job. Don't spend a pantload on discs, they are disposable. Make back ups of your back ups. If you are archiving your family memories the format will change....I started with 8mm and still have those movies but I watch them digitally or on DVD now...get the picture?

Pros: I have purchased about 1000 of these over the past years all from newegg. In my first shipment of 300 I noticed 1 spindle had a clear plastic wrap over a cardboard sleeve with the TDK graphics on it, but the other 2 spindles had no cardboard sleeve but instead the graphics was printed tight on the plastic. Then in my latest shipment in November I noticed the number hooks for the cakebox cover had changed from 4 to 3. I also used a program called DVD identifier on the discs. The 3 hook version I just received is DAXON media and will actually burn at 16x on my NEC3550A, but the 4 hook version is CMC magnetics media and it will only burn at 12x max and it's not a great quality burn at 12x so I end up burning at 4x.

Cons: TDK has apparently used at least 3 different media supplier for these discs, and some are much better than others when you run the burn quality tests in Nero CD/DVD speed utility. So the biggest con to me is lack of consistency, you never know what you will really be getting, except that it has TDK's name on it.

Overall Review: Bad burns where the disc is unusable are rare, about 1%. I had burned several hundred discs with Nero's verifier feature turned on, and was thinking I should turn it off because they all burn good. Right as I was thinking that, I had a bad burn, and noticed the disc had scuffs on it that came from the factory. I didn't list this in the cons section because the percentage of bad disks is amazingly low so it's actually pretty good. I just wish the supply source was more consistent. The latest Daxon media seems to be good, I hope TDK can stick with that. I don't like the CMC magnetics media as well, it's not as good and is marginal.

Pros: I tryed a lot of disks and I like thes the best and there cheap. Burned 100 of these and not one single problem. I'm going to stay with these.

Cons: Recording surface is very light, which usually means lower quality. Darker recording surface the better from my 14 years of experience burning discs.

Overall Review: Ran these through DVD Identifier and these TDK's are Moser Baer MBIPG101, which is a second class media. Not the best, not the worst. I wouldn't put anything really important or meaningful on these. Good enough for backups and such. I only had one burn failure out of the 100 pack.

Pros: burns at 4x 8x 12x and 16x on my samsung burner bought here from the egg. no coasters.

Cons: only burns at 8x on my lg burners. wont work in my avion stand alone dvd recorder.

Overall Review: it seems that most all blank media makers are making there media cheaper to the point they don't work at the standards they use to. my avion is all but useless now unless i can find a dvd+R/+RW that works with it. never had a problem with disc error before. maybe i need to buy my dvd recorder direct from japan..(blu-ray recorder anyone).
