My computer (desktop) has slots for ddr and ddr2 on asus e2545_p5vdc-mx motherboard.

could I use this ddr3 memory ??

No. Memory slots are set up in a way where DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 memory will not for into the same slots. The reason is because the notches in the pins are set in different areas. On top of that, there are a different amount of pins on the memory that the modules on the motherboard can read. So, even if a DDR2 motherboard could hold a DDR3 memory stick, it could not read it anyways. I suggest using the same DDR-type memory made for your motherboard.

I have 8 GB Team Dark RAM, @1600, in blue. Will this work well as an addition to that, to make it 16 GB?

Yes,

If you have 1600 Ram, it will not slow down these sticks at all, and will add to your ram, given that your motherboard has the ability ot have 16GBs of memory. If you want to be very picky about your ram and it's t"imings", you can check to see that the CAS Latency (usually a string of numbers like 12-12-12 ms) on the other ram is the same, or at least close to these.

I just purchased this memory with a Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X motherboard. Specs from NewEgg states that the board supports DDR3 1600. On Gigabytes website it does not list this model but does list other TeamDark/Team Elite memory that it support. Please let me know if this memory will work with this mb? I contacted Gigabyte support as well.

Tbh I've never worried about compatibility lists, and I've been fine. As long as the specs are supported. If you want to be completely sure, wait for Gigabyte's official answer. I'm sure the reason it's not listed is because they haven't tested this particular SKU, not that it won't work. It should work fine.

Question 4

Does anyone know if you can use a Hyper 212 Evo with this ram?

The heatspreader looks tall, and I'm not sure if it'd fit with the evo.

I'd say it depends on how much space there is on your motherboard. It should fit even if you're using a micro-ATX or mini-ITX board, I used these with a 212 EVO and it fit for me, the heat spreaders aren't ridiculously large.

I was very happy with my Team memory. The difference in speed will be negligible unless you are using an AMD APU which benefits from faster RAM.

I had this kit OC'd to 1600mhz for about 6 months before upgrading to an fx8320. Now for some reason, my pc refuses to boot unless I set it to 1333mhz. Anyone have any ideas?

your post shows that you have the system oc'd & there are many variables in overclocking a system. I won't address any of that here, since there are forums you can go to, Gigabyte and Tom's Hardware have one.  Anyway, here is some info that a lot of pc enthusiasts are unaware of.
The memory controller integrated into the AMD processor has a maximum supported speed that is limited by the number of memory slots present, slots used and whether it's single or dual rank memory.  For example, an FX cpu in a mobo with 4 memory slots populated with dual rank memory has a max supported mem speed of 1333. Most memory modules have two speed profiles programmed in the spd chip, a tested maximum speed and a standard speed.  Every mobo that I've encountered defaults to the standard profile.
Since your post indicates that you are overclocking, I would recommend setting the bios back to defaults and ONLY changing the memory timing to the values shown on the module's sticker (1600, CL9-9-9-24, 1.5V).  If the system posts successfully, then one of your other OC settings is at fault.
I've looked on Team's website & Im unable to tell if these are dual rank modules.  Normally, dual rank modules are marked on the sticker as "2 rank".  Hope this info helps.

p.s.  My 8gb kit has been running great at 1833, CL8-8-8-24, 1.65V. BUT, I've only OC'd the cpu to 3.6.  MSI Z77A-G41, I5-3570K, dual HD-5970.
