Pros: Cost effective! Half the price and less of other RAM. Decent Latency timing. DOES Work for Asrock z97 MOBOS (But you will need to set the BIOS clocking speed to use this RAM at its rated DDR rating of 2666). Nice heat sink that does not interfere with the fit of these sticks. Not QUITE as fast as PC 2800 but not anywhere near as expensive and really it is hard to notice any difference! If you are on a budget and your MOBO supports PC 2666 this is a money saving alternative instead of getting strapped having to buy PC 2400. All I have to say is my computer is so fast it blisters my fingers compared to my old computer! This RAM is part of the reason. I have yet to get a BSOD due to RAM messing up. So far the only BSODs I got were thanks to WINDOWS 8!

Cons: So far I have found no reason to say anything bad about this RAM. If you somehow get a set that are DOA Newegg will take care of you promptly. I could care less who the manufacturer is. There is a chance with ANY Electronics purchase you will get a DOA item here and there. I bought two of these 8GB kits and both work perfectly so again if you get a DOA set don't get all uptight and whine like a spoiled child about it. It isn't like you are spending $250 on comparable RAM and getting a DOA WHICH DOES And has happened to other buyers!

Overall Review: A great way to save money and still get fast RAM. I pinched my pennies so hard Abe Lincoln in in heaven complaining about who keeps pinching him. I got a computer now that will remain competitive for a long time. I bought two sets of this ram for about 2/3 the cost of other competitor's single 8GB RAM set and got 16GB of ram out of the deal. While I would love to have 24GB the cost is way too prohibitive for me right now considering I am limited to four RAM slots and money is an issue for me. If you got the money to spend there is better available BUT honestly this is a real value all the way around and gives me the speed and capacity I need! It is impossible to say I went wrong with this purchase!

Pros: This memory has worked perfect since the first boot. I got the old "memory changed F1 to continue or F2 for setup" I went into the BIOS set it to 2800 and left it. System reports it at 2800 and i'm happy. My BIOS can push it to 3200, I haven't tried 3000+ yet but i will.

Cons: NONE--Had to "on the spot re-engineer" my heat sink wire clips. I cut one off and snap tied the wires else ware. It was that or take it off and spin it and i didn't have the time. They probably slide off- i didn't check?? But i need things in my case as cool as possible
