In short, no.

The Long answer is as follows: Your computer’s RAM chips are dynamic random access memory that require a charge of electricity to retain information. A Solid State Drive, such as the one in question, uses a 3-bit-per-cell vertical and multi-voltage module. This type of memory is known as 3D-NAND MLC memory and is stable for storage of information for extremely long periods of time. The amount of information lost due to an unexpected power outage mid operation is far less than what could be expected from a Standard Hard Disk Drive and is superior in mobile and high-speed applications.

My drive performs very well and I highly recommend it.

can it be used with an AMD processor? like Ryzen 4 2400g

Yes, as long as the motherboard you're using has a SATA m.2 slot, or an m.2 slot that supports both NVME and SATA operation. If you're looking for a motherboard that supports the Ryzen 5 2400g, you could use an A320, B350, B450, X370, or an X470, all of which support at least m.2 SATA operation if not NVME/SATA compatible. Just make sure that the motherboard you're planning on using has an m.2 slot first, and that the slot supports SATA m.2 SSDs.

If your asking this you may need more help, but yea it has no idea about that and don't care. I use it with my AMD, Intel and even my Samsung Cell.  It's do you have an M.2 slot that supports Sata III? if you do, it will work.  If thats the ONLY drive, you need a plan to put windows or whatever on it, like a usb installation drive.

How solid is the state of this drive?

I think he was playing with the words there, Chad T. I bought a few of these for work in early 2019 (the 128GB model) to house them in external m.2 enclosures (the kind that mimic USB slider flash drives) strictly for the purpose of imaging lab computers. Their webpage states that the 128GB model has an endurance of 30TB (which is probably a low estimate as that is less than 240 total drive writes). As far as the controller, it is a Silicon Motion controller (don't quote me on it, but it is probably a quad channel controller to keep costs down). The NAND packages are unbranded and not labeled at all (I am starting at my MS30 drives right now with the labels peeled).

Basically, they should suffice for normal usage but I wouldn't trust it as a backup drive IF it is the only backup drive you have. Although, if you need  backups, you should have more than one...like, backups of backups of backups...but I am getting off topic.

30TBW for the 128GB; 60TBW for the 256GB; 120TBW for the 512GB; 240TBW for the 1TB; and 480TWB for the 2TB models according to their (Team Group) website. However, I am confident these are extremely conservative figures. I would be willing to say at least double the ratings given by the manufacturer. Heck, even IF these are planar TLC, they should last at least double what is stated by Team Group assuming, again, these are planar TLC @ 1x nm architecture (between 10nm to 19nm). If these are 3D TLC, easily double that again. So, doing the math should answer that question. It sucks they don't list which brand of NAND they are using (it's possible it changes all-the-time or they have a batch rotation of different brands to keep costs minimal) but, again, the worst TLC that is reputable is going to be fine. Just avoid no name brands, that's all. Team Group has grown tremendously since when I remember their first products.
