Tek Republic TM Black 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 3600 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Everything about this mouse is fantastic. i know this product is discontinued, however this review merits a posting for the over one year ownership factor. The mouse comes with replacement skid pads for the bottom of the mouse. there is one skid pad in each of the 4 corners AND there is a double sized pad under the front wire area on the bottom as well. these pads are VERY slick (GREAT for gaming man!) but the thing I wanted to mention was I just replaced the pads for the first time since 1/26/2012 (1 year, 1 month, and 2 weeks later) WOW!!! I have a brand new mouse again!!! - but guess WHAT??!! the mouse came with TWO replacement sets of pads!!!

Overall Review: I believe the mouse will outlast the skid pads supplied by TekRepublic. and i WILL be buying from TekRepublic however I can. Just wish Newegg still sold it. I would buy 3 more in a flat New York second man. KILLER mouse.

Pros: I got this mouse on sale for 29.99 and it's worth every penny. I've used this mouse for about a week gaming at least 4 hours a day without any problems. Going from my 800 dpi logitech to 3600 dpi, this thing feels smooth as butter. The dpi selector lets you set up to 6 dpi settings for on the fly changes, though I only use two (1000 and 3592). Also the software will let you customize any of the buttons however you like. The weights let you find the best feel for you. On average I gained 5 kills per game of BF3 switching to this mouse. Also the treble-click button next to the scroll wheel is great for when you need to double click, or just squeeze out a few rounds in game. I can see where that will really save on the wear and tear of the left click button.

Cons: This mouse isn't as durable as my logitech, but with this one being wired and never leaving the desk I'm not worried about dropping it.

Overall Review: It would be nice to have rubber grips on both sides and extended to cover the entire side panels. Also this mouse is definetly made for "man hands". It feels comfortable to me, but I could see how a kid or someone with small hands might not like the size. Overall this thing is awesome. I get all the features of an $60+ mouse for 30 bucks.

Pros: -Good solid build qualilty; no slop in main buttons -Extra button near scroll wheel is in a good spot, not in the way -Thumb grip area is perfect.

Cons: -Does not use Omron switches for main right/left buttons -back thumb button is a bit stiff to click at first -textured plastic on right side is a bit too smooth, no grip and shape of the right side is kind of awkward

Overall Review: Another OEM clone. Go for the A4 Tech version with the "anti-vibrate" sensor on the bottom, instead. It works MUCH better then any software algorithm.

Pros: I was blow away with the quality of the mouse versus what I thought I was going to get. I have had absolutely no problems with it. -Variable weight, easily adjusted -Many buttons which can all be macro'd -Easy to use and install software -Perfect fit for my hand -Extremely smooth movement with extra pads included -Extremely smooth scroll wheel -(I don't remember exactly, but...) One-button to go through all the different DPI selections that you can choose in the program. I have mine set to 500 and 2000, one for normal use and one for sniping. -Cord is very long

Cons: -Someone with tiny hands might have a hard time using it -It's wired (Not a con for me because I hate batteries, but for others maybe.) -Doesn't make me sandwiches or print money

Overall Review: Got this for $16 with a super daily deal, best $16 I've ever spent. I almost pulled the trigger on a similar mouse for $60 and I'm extremely glad that I didn't. Awesome mouse, much better than any of the other fancy name-brand ones. As a side-note it came extremely well packaged. 11/10

Overall Review: How the on-the-fly DPI changer works on this one: You toggle thru a transparent LED-lit button below the scroll wheel, that changes color or flashes to indicate the various settings.

Cons: I would like a retractable cord, but that really doesn't matter for how great this mouse is. That's strictly personal preference, and I'm getting a desktop soon, anyway.

Overall Review: Seems to be a gold-plated usb plug. I love gold-plated stuff. I did not realize it had weights in it. You can take them out if you want, but I love them. First experience with weights and I don't pick up my mouse when somebody in a game appears and I freak out!

Pros: Perfect for my very large hands. I've been using an IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 for three years as I couldn't find a comfortable mouse to fit my hand, and after taking a chance on this one for $16 on sale, I am absolutely stunned. The quality of this mouse is amazing, the buttons are all perfectly clicky and don't require too much effort. My primary complaint about 99% of mouses is that the scroll wheel button is too difficult to press, or the resistance of the wheel is too loose causing issues when pressing it, however this mouse doesn't have this problem in any way. The reason I replaced my IntelliMouse was due to worn feet, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to move it around. This mouse came with 2 extra sets of feet, so I should be able to get even more use out of this without issue. The removable weights is a very nice feature as well. I've spent $80+ on gaming mice before, and not a single one came with the extra feet or removable weights, so I consider this on every account, an absolute win. I'll be back to buy another, thanks NewEgg!

Pros: First of all, I bought this while it was on sale $14-$16. I have well above average sized hands and this mouse provides an ergonomic feel. I always switch claw and grip style and this mouse doesn't give me any trouble. The grip located on the left is, by far, the best feature this mouse has. It feels very, very nice and gives you a secured touch. The left and right buttons is not glossy, but matte-ish which is a huge plus for me because I do not like glossy buttons because they make my hands sweat quite often. The wheel feels nice and smooth, just the right resistance for me. The DPI and the extra button near the wheel works fine and does not bother me at all, same goes for the 2 left thumb buttons. The weights are a nice touch that gives more customization to suit your needs. It was an easy install and the software it comes with is not hard to navigate.

Cons: Not braided, but hey, this is a budget mouse so it's expected. The left grip is amazing, wished they would have added it on the right side, as well.

Overall Review: If you are on a strict budget then get this mouse. Just looking for a spare mouse for backup? Also get this, especially if it's on sale. I have never heard of Tek Republic before this product and I'm pleasantly surprised at its quality.
