I think it will, it tunes in stations well for me.  It does have a knob for you to "tune" the antenna to the frequency of the station you desire to listen to.  Also, you will have to turn the antenna until the signal is strongest, this may cause some neat freaks to not like the antenna's angle to the furniture it sits on.  Also make sure the wire from the antenna to the radio is not hear any power lines, routing this wire to minimize picking up the 60 Hz noise of a power cord.
