WIll this work with a MSI Intel H81 LGA 1150 motherboard?

Yes, It has the proper connectors for the motherboard. What would determine the power supply capacity you need would be what you run for peripherals. For example, a high end video card would require a higher wattage supply. Same if you are thinking about overclocking. You can find calculators online that you can determine what size supply you would need. I would think the 500 Watt would most likely be quite sufficient for you.

Does this suits to Micro ATX mother board?

Ther is an 8 pin socket that will seperate by sliding one half up and the other down giving you 2 seperate 4pin sockets . I found out not by the instructon sheet but the pictures on the outside of the box . No need for cutting or trying to hang half the socket off the side ot the motherdoard connector

In my opinion, if you are planning on sticking with the I5 and GTX 1050 you should be good with the 500W.  For example, MSI recommends a 300W PSU for the GTX 1050.  However, if you are contemplating future upgrades, you may want to go with the 600W.

In fact, NewEgg provides one at http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/ Notwithstanding, I am confident that if you're building a Ryzen based system that uses the CPU's built-in video, a couple of SDDs, one or two HDDs, a CD/DVD ROM, and 3 or 4 mid-range cooling fans (including the one for the CPU), the Thermaltake Smart Series 500W PSU will be more than adequate to meet your needs. Will this work with an Asus Strix GTX 1070 card?

Sorry, this is not a firm yes or no.  The question doesn't have information on the balance of your Build.  As to the Mobo, CPU and other equipment that needs power from the 12V power supply bus,  The Smart 500 has a max of 420W on that bus.   I'm not familiar with the specific GTX card, and I couldn't find a spec with the wattage demand.  However this is a high end gaming card, and use all 8 pins of the video power connector.  My yeard of experience with electronics, always errors on the side of head room margin on power. So the the 500 W Smart may do the job, but I would be looking to use a 600 to 700 Watt supply.
I hope someone who know the actual power demands of the card can answer the question.

Yes, I have used it before on that motherboard.   Most ATX power supplies are universal in the fact that they work with virtually every mobo out there.  Save propriatary ones like HP prebuilts  etc....

I really wanted a Seasonic PSU because I KNOW they're good quality, but I bought this Thermaltake because I was on a budget. Will this PSU last me a decent amount of time? Are they used with good quality components?

I have been using this PSU now for almost two years with no problems. My build is not high end by any means, a ASUS PRIME B360M-A with Intel Pentium 5400 used mainly for storage purposes.
