Can this bulb be used in a outdoor fixture?

This bulb is similar in size to an equivalent incandescent light bulb. I believe it is intended for indoor use. I would not use it outside unless it was enclosed in a see through glass structure to make it water proof or in a light fixture on say a screen porch where the rain could not get to it.
