does  adapt come w/ router ,battery etcetera for 300.00?

Yes, it comes with everything; however, after two years the router will no longer power on.  I asked about a replacement and TPCast stated they do not sell the router separately so I would need to spend another $300 to purchase everything.  Thanks but no thanks TPCast.  I guess I will be looking into one of the alternate router solutions.

Does this version work with the Oculus Rift to or do I have to wait for another version to come out sometime in these coming weeks?

I have only heard of this working with the HTC Vive.  The HDMI transmitter is designed for sending only (audio/video) to the headset and the AP is designed with a built in firmware to accept the signals coming from the headset for all of the formally USB based data such as controller and headset locations.   I placed the video/audio sender in the ceiling above me and have played rick and morty, brookhaven, etc... without any issues tho.

Real world Battery Life?

What is the range of this? Will it work if the computer is in another room?

The video signal unit needs to be in the same room as the HMD.  It has a range of about 5m line-of-sight.  But I do have the PC in a different room from the play area and run a long HDMI cable to just the transmitter box in the play space.

Does it support the camera?

There are some modders on the OpenTPCAST project that have it working, but this kind of stuff might void your warranty by opening the power box to swap the microSD card to use a new image. I did use their project to get the mic working and have played Star Trek Bridge Crew wirelessly with the mic. So fun! And, as you probably know, the Vive camera is just horrible, so you might be better off getting another camera working.

Does anyone know if they have added support for Vive's built in microphone? Last I knew that's the one downside of moving to wireless.

Does the TPCast work with the Vive's Delux Audio Strap?

Yes, it's compatible.  See SweViver's review of the European model on Youtube.  He uses it with the delux audio strap.
