Depends on how you are using it, and how the memory is formatted. We had to run tests on a variety of Compact Flash to find some that would fit our specific memory loading processes. In another application, we used to use Type 1 PCMCIA memory cards, then they all but disappeared over the years. We were able to switch to a Transcend CF 2GB with a CF to PCMCIA adapter (TranscendUSA) to download data from a railroad locomotive processor.
