Pros: Have this mounted on the wall in my garage. I have three TRENDnet TV-IP321PI 1280 x 960 MAX Resolution Outdoor 1.3 MP HD PoE Dome IR Network Camera at this time and have had zero problems.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Looking into adding more TRENDnet cameras.
Pros: Powers 7 1080p PoE cameras on up to 250' cat5 runs at 25 fps. Used in conjunction with NAS to record and stream. Has individual wattage adjustment per port for those longer runs. Does what it is supposed to do. Have not had any lag streaming all cameras at once, nor power fluctuations.
Cons: None so far, though it has only been up for 3 weeks.
Overall Review: I have minimal networking experience. It was easy enough of an interface for adjustments, there were also plenty of other options on it that are out of my league.
Pros: This seems to be a capable switch.
Cons: This switch would not power Zmodo cameras. Tech support says this switch only supports 802.3af mode "A". The cameras must be mode "B", as they do work with Zmodo's NVR.
Overall Review: If this switch would have worked with my cameras, I would have been pleased with it and give it 5 starts. The specifications do not say it only supports mode "A", which could lead to problems for other people besides me. Now I have to find a switch that supports mode "B", or use power injectors.
