I have 5 cameras with Ethernet connection (Samsung unit-died), would like to avoid rewire, they went from Samsung base to my DVR with bnc connection. I want to power up the 6 pin Ethernet cameras then send signal to the DVR via bnc connection. Will this work & how?

You don't provide sufficient information about what you're trying to do so it is hard to provide an answer. However, 1st, Ethernet is 8-pin (4 pairs of wires), not 6. Second, you said your cameras have an Ethernet connection, but were connected by BNC to the DVR (what's a "Samsung base" anyway?). Sounds like you want to continue using the existing BNC cabling to support the cameras, yet also use PoE to power them via their Ethernet port? I seriously doubt any camera is going to use both interfaces at the same time, but even if they did, you can't supply power to the Ethernet port without Ethernet cable run between the switch and the cameras.

Is this PoE switch compatible with Cisco's AP: AIR-LAP1252AG-A-K9?

I haven't installed it yet, but the specs are great. The IP address preset by Trendnet is outside of the range I normally use, so that will be need to be addressed when I do the install. There are instructions on how to do it. I'm not an IT geek, but think it will be fine.
