Precise Fault Identification with Two Operation Modes This VFL (Visual Fault Locator) is a fiber optic tester that uses a bright <5mW red laser to pinpoint fiber breaks, sharp bends, damaged connectors, incorrect routing, and link continuity issues. Switch between continuous and flashing modes to distinguish signal from ambient light. For continuity, a red light at the far-end connector means the core is not broken. For long-distance faults, use an OTDR to find the approximate distance, then this fiber fault locator to pinpoint the exact spot. Note: Range depends on fiber conditionfaults or high attenuation shorten visible distance. Waterproof/dark jackets may block red light.
