How much clearance do you need in the front and back of the rack?

The front door can be mounted either left or right, it is approx. 2 feet wide. If your server(s) are 29"deep, you'll want clearance for installation, it moves pretty easily If you need to swing it out.
The back of the rack has split doors, you need approx. 1 foot clearance to open the doors, you must consider of course what you do back there, if you must remove an appliance then your body and perhaps the appliance dimensions are to be considered.

This enclosure can support a maximum installed whole unit depth of 37 inches. It has more than enough room. If you want a smaller version you could consider the shallow depth version of the SR42
