Can you side mount it on the wall?

The rack has mounting holes on its backside. It doesn’t have any other mounting holes although I’m sure you could make them but that might compromise it’s structure as the side walls I believe aren’t as thick as the back side wall. Hope this helps. It’s a great cabinet.

Yes, the side doors can be locked from the inside and the front door can be locked from the outside.

I would think in excess of 200 lbs. Has nice heavy welded frame inside.  The limiting factor I would see is the shear streangth of the mounting bolts into the wall and the wall construction itself.  Mounting bar has 3 screws which the unit hangs on plus 2 additional screws in the back of the cabinet its self...

Can you remove the front door?

Yes, two spring loaded pins hinge and retain the front door.  The door removes and re-installs easily... same with side panels also.

The back is completely open; It is intended to mount against a wall. The side doors come off completely, and the front door is hinged.
