Does this unit come with PoE power brick?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the only Ubiquiti products that I have purchased that do not come with the bricks was a boxed set of 5.  They assume you are connecting to one of their switches.

Question 2

I currently have an original UAC-AP (2.4G only).  Centrally placed high, this covers my entire 50 ft 2 story ranch with full bars in most rooms.  Hoping someone can share some real numbers on distance\performance on both 2.4G and 5G?

We have 5 small blogs/cabins in open terrain and light vegetation areas 100-250 ft apart with solid 2.4GHz coverage throughout the campus. Each bldg has one of these APs in it. I have 5GHz disabled and bandwidth throttling in place at 10 mbps symmetrical, and we have hosted events with upwards of 30 vendors using the WiFi as well as several roku TVs streaming video with no LAN bottlenecks observes under load. Solid product, would buy again.
