I'm getting mixed info. On the MFG site it says Sata 3 compatable however does it do the 6GB/S?

Well I have several different hot swap drive bays. The Vantec EZ Swap works OK, but I did have one fry on me. I think a better hot swap drive bay would be the iStarUSA BPN-DE110SS-BLACK 1x5.25" to 1x3.5" SATA/SAS 6.0 Gb/s Trayless Hot-Swap Cage. This drive bay does give you the full 6G speeds.

Question 2

How can you keep this device on Fahrenheit so every time I turn my Computer off and back on, it doesn't automatically default back to Celsius...? Anyone have any idea how to do that?

I see, but press the 2 small buttons  at the same time  it  will default to fahrenheit. !
